India Successfully Tests Pralay Missile in Salvo Launch

India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted the salvo launch of the Pralay missile from the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha on Saturday. The test-firing involved simultaneously launching multiple missiles, demonstrating the system’s ability to saturate a target with firepower.

The Pralay missile is a short-range, surface-to-surface ballistic missile, solid-fuelled and capable of accurately hitting its intended target.
