After clinching his first National Film Award in over three decades, actor Shah Rukh Khan shared a lighthearted moment with his wife Gauri Khan, thanking her for her support and asking her to “brag about him” during dinner.
Gauri Khan Celebrates Big Wins in the Industry
Following the announcement of the 71st National Film Awards, Gauri Khan took to social media to congratulate Shah Rukh, along with their longtime friends Karan Johar and Rani Mukerji. Karan’s film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was named Best Popular Film, and Rani was awarded Best Actress for Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway.
In her post, Gauri wrote that she was “ready to brag about them forever.” Shah Rukh responded with a warm, humorous message:
“Please brag about me to me when we sit for dinner tonight… thanks for producing the film.”
Daughter Suhana Joins in the Celebration
Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana Khan also marked the occasion with a heartfelt post. She shared a childhood photo with her father and wrote,
“From bedtime stories to stories that leave a mark, no one tells them like you. Congratulations. Love you the most.”
Shah Rukh replied, joking that his bedtime stories might not have the same impact anymore, and he’d now rely on his films to keep her entertained.
