Mumbai, August 28, 2025 – Bollywood superstar Salman Khan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with his family, performing aarti alongside his parents and siblings at sister Arpita Khan’s Mumbai residence.

On Wednesday night, Salman shared a heartwarming video from the festivities on Instagram, without a caption. The clip begins with his mother Salma Khan performing the ritual, followed by father Salim Khan. Salman, dressed in a black shirt and beige trousers, then takes part in the aarti.

Family Celebrations

The video also features other members of the Khan family, including Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Khan, Atul Agnihotri, and Alizeh Agnihotri. Arpita and her husband Aayush Sharma joined in with their children, Ayat and Ahil.

Close family friends Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza also attended the celebration with their two sons. The clip ends with a close-up of the Ganpati idol, set to devotional music.

Salman Khan’s Work Front

On the professional side, Salman was last seen in A.R. Murugadoss’ Sikandar. He will next star in Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, where he plays an Indian Army soldier.

The actor is also hosting Bigg Boss 19, which airs on Colors at 10:30 p.m. and streams digitally on JioCinema at 9 p.m.
