Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the much-awaited Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupe in India, priced at ₹1.35 crore (ex-showroom). The new model enhances the luxury automaker’s performance lineup, blending the agility of the C-Class with the elegance and space of the E-Class.

Engine and Performance:
Under the hood, the CLE 53 4MATIC+ is powered by an upgraded 3.0-litre M 256M inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine. This facelifted engine features optimised combustion chambers, redesigned inlet and outlet channels, and a new exhaust gas turbocharger. Combined with an electric additional compressor, it delivers a peak output of 449 horsepower and a torque of 560 Nm in continuous operation, with an overboost capability of 600 Nm for up to 12 seconds.

The coupe accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h, extendable to 270 km/h with the optional AMG Driver’s Package. The vehicle is equipped with air dampers and rear-wheel steering for enhanced handling.

Interior and Features:
Inside, the CLE 53 4MATIC+ boasts the latest MBUX infotainment system, which includes a 12.3-inch digital driver display and an 11.9-inch central display. The sporty cabin is designed with integral seats made from ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT black microfibre, featuring AMG-specific graphics and red stitching for a high-performance look.
