Mahindra has started delivering the mid-range Pack Two variants of its BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs in India. These new versions feature a larger 79 kWh battery pack, offering significantly extended driving range compared to earlier models.
Extended Range, More Choices
With the launch of these Pack Two models, buyers now have the option to choose between a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh battery. The larger B79 battery pack powers both vehicles and delivers higher performance:
- Mahindra BE 6 B79
- Battery: 79 kWh
- Power: 281 hp
- Torque: 380 Nm
- Range: Up to 683 km
- Mahindra XEV 9e B79
- Same power and torque as BE 6
- Range: Up to 656 km
The smaller 59 kWh battery (B59) variant offers:
- BE 6: 227 hp, 557 km range
- XEV 9e: 542 km range
Pricing (Ex-showroom)
- BE 6 B79: ₹24.25 lakh
- XEV 9e B79: ₹27.29 lakh
- BE 6 B59: ₹22.65 lakh
- XEV 9e B59: ₹25.65 lakh
Market Strategy
The BE 6 and XEV 9e are part of Mahindra’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the EV segment by offering more range and performance at competitive prices. With the deliveries now underway, these electric SUVs add to the growing list of long-range EVs available in India.
