Rumours surrounding the possible divorce of television couple Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali have intensified after Mahhi shared a cryptic post on social media. Reports suggest the two finalized their separation earlier this year, though neither has officially confirmed the news.

Mahhi Vij took to her Instagram Stories and shared a post that read:
“May we always have the money to buy the things that we screenshot.”
The statement quickly went viral, adding more fuel to ongoing rumours about her marriage with Jay. Fans flooded social media with mixed reactions — while some expressed concern and sadness, others offered words of support and empathy.
Reports Claim Divorce Was Finalised Earlier This Year
According to a report by Hindustan Times, Mahhi and Jay filed for divorce a few months ago. The report stated:
“Much was tried, but nothing changed. Separation happened a long time ago. They filed for divorce a couple of months back. The papers were signed and finalized in July–August, and the custody of the kids has also been decided.”
Neither Jay nor Mahhi has responded to these reports.
Mahhi’s Previous Reaction to Divorce Speculation
Earlier this year, Mahhi addressed the ongoing rumours during an appearance on The Male Feminist podcast. She firmly questioned public curiosity about her personal life, saying:
“Even if it is the case, why should I tell you? Are you my uncle? Will you pay my lawyer’s fee? Why do people make such a big deal out of somebody’s divorce or separation?”
She further added that online comments often blame one person without knowing the real story:
“People comment saying, ‘Mahhi toh decent hai, Jay aisa hai,’ or ‘Jay accha hai, Mahhi hi aisi hai.’ Do you even know the truth?”

Following her latest post, fans have continued to speculate about the state of her marriage. While some hope for reconciliation, others are sending love and support to both Jay and Mahhi, urging everyone to avoid making assumptions.
