Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra’s much-awaited film Param Sundari premiered today, just a day after the actors visited the popular Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati pandal. The visit was meant to be a spiritual one, with the actors walking barefoot to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha. However, a video from the pandal showing Janhvi visibly uncomfortable in the crowded setting has gone viral, and online users have expressed empathy for her situation.
In the video, shared by Instagram user SnehZala, Janhvi is seen looking uneasy and anxious in the thick crowd. Her expressions clearly show that she was not comfortable, and at one point, she appeared to be scared. In contrast, Sidharth Malhotra seemed calm and unfazed as they made their way through the crowd of devotees.
Fans Express Concern for Janhvi Kapoor
The video quickly gained traction on Reddit, where many users expressed concern for Janhvi’s well-being. One user commented, “Any normal woman knows how uncomfortable and fearful these types of situations are. Especially being short, when you can’t see anything in front of you and are being pushed around.”
Another user shared a personal connection with her discomfort, saying, “This is me in places as well, it’s not a celebrity thing but a woman thing. Sometimes you can’t avoid certain areas or events, and I have the same uncomfortable expression since I’ve been in places before where people take advantage of the crowd and grope you.”
Empathy from Fans
Even male users expressed discomfort watching Janhvi’s visible unease. One user said, “As a man, I feel uncomfortable seeing her. You can tell she is not acting; she is genuinely concerned. If you were her bodyguard or friend, you’d feel uncomfortable too.” Another user added, “I could feel her discomfort. It’s very much palpable.”
Someone else sympathized with her, saying, “Oh, this poor girl. I’m not her biggest fan or anything close to it, but I hate seeing the look on her face. She looks so scared and worried. I don’t blame her at all.”
‘Param Sundari’ Could Collect Rs 7–10 Crore on Opening Day
Meanwhile, Param Sundari has officially hit cinemas, and early estimates suggest a strong opening. According to Sacnilk, advance bookings for the film opened on August 26, and within the first 24 hours, about 10,000 tickets were sold across various booking apps. Early estimates suggest that the film could gross around Rs 7-10 crore on its opening day, with potential for higher collections if audience reactions remain positive. A double-digit opening would mark a significant start for both Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor.
