Hrithik Roshan Sends ‘Naatu Naatu’ Billboard to Jr NTR in Playful War 2 Banter

The off-screen battle has already begun for War 2 stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, and fans are loving every minute of it. In a clever promotional twist, Hrithik sent a billboard truck with a cheeky message to Jr NTR — and it had a ‘Naatu Naatu’ twist.

The billboard, parked right outside Jr NTR’s home, read:
“Naatu Naatu as much as you want but I am winning this war.”

Jr NTR, who is making his Bollywood debut in the highly anticipated War 2, didn’t hold back. Sharing a photo of the truck on Instagram, he replied with the caption:
“Nice return gift @hrithikroshan sir. But this is not the end! The War begins for real on 14th August. See you then!”

Not one to stay silent, the RRR star responded with a billboard truck of his own sent to Hrithik’s Mumbai residence. This one carried a fiery message:
“Ghungroo toot jaayenge par hum se yeh war jeet nahi paaoge.”

War 2: More Than Just Banter

The playful exchange has added a buzz of excitement to War 2, the next big installment in Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film brings together Hrithik Roshan’s Kabir and Jr NTR’s Nataraj in what promises to be a high-octane showdown.

Set to release on August 14, 2025, the film has received a U/A certificate and runs for 2 hours and 53 minutes. Alongside the two leads, War 2 also stars Kiara Advani in a key role.

While the teaser hints at an intense face-off between the two spies, there’s growing speculation about Alia Bhatt’s possible cameo, which would tie War 2 into the upcoming Alpha, another YRF spy project. However, there’s no official confirmation yet.

A Campaign Fans Are Loving

The banter between Hrithik and Jr NTR, delivered via billboards, has become a clever marketing highlight — one that fans have embraced for its humor and build-up to the big release. With their on-screen war just around the corner, it’s safe to say that War 2 is gearing up to be one of the year’s most talked-about films.
