Roblox’s popular farming simulator Grow a Garden has launched a major update with the introduction of the Trading and Cooking Event, adding new gameplay elements, recipes, cosmetics, and pets.

Released on August 2, the update introduces the Chris P. Bacon Cooking Event, where players use harvested ingredients from their virtual gardens to cook dishes and earn rewards. Recipes are created by combining specific fruits, vegetables, and flowers in colored cooking pots. Once prepared, the meals are handed over to Chris P., a pig NPC known for his changing food cravings.

Key Features of the Update:

• Hourly cravings from the pig NPC influence which dishes earn the best rewards.
• Rewards vary based on the size and rarity of the ingredients.
• Players can receive items like the Gourmet Seed Pack, Gourmet Egg, Pet Shard Fried, Mochi Mouse, Artichoke, Fork Fence, and Food Crate.
• New cosmetics include themed décor such as the Pink Cake, Banana Hammock, Hotdog Cart, and Golden Hotdog Statue.

Feeding Chris P. Bacon grants players a Gourmet Egg, which can hatch into:

Trading System:

Players can now trade with each other using a Trading Ticket, purchasable for 100,000 Sheckles at the Gear Stall. This feature enables item exchanges directly between players for the first time in the game.

The update marks a significant expansion of Grow a Garden’s in-game economy and interaction systems, offering fresh incentives for cooking, farming, and trading.
