Diljit Dosanjh Gets Khalistani Threat Over Australia Concert — The Big B Connection

Punjabi singer and global music star Diljit Dosanjh has received threats from the banned Khalistani group Sikh For Justice (SFJ) ahead of his scheduled concert in Australia on November 1. The group, led by US-based terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has called for a shutdown of the event, accusing the singer of disrespecting victims of the 1984 Sikh Genocide.

SFJ Targets Diljit Dosanjh Over Amitabh Bachchan Gesture

In a statement, SFJ claimed that Diljit Dosanjh “insulted every victim, every widow, and every orphan of the 1984 Sikh Genocide” by touching the feet of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.

The group alleged that Amitabh Bachchan, on October 31, 1984, had “publicly incited Hindustani mobs with the genocidal slogan ‘Khoon Ka Badla Khoon’ (Blood for Blood),” leading to large-scale violence against Sikhs.

Pannun stated:

“By touching the feet of Bachchan — the man whose words orchestrated genocide — Diljit Dosanjh has insulted every victim, every widow, and every orphan of the 1984 Sikh Genocide.”

November 1 Declared as Sikh Genocide Remembrance Day

Coincidentally, Akal Takht Sahib has designated November 1 as Sikh Genocide Remembrance Day, marking the anniversary of the tragic events that followed Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s assassination in 1984.

SFJ: A Banned Khalistani Organization

The Sikh For Justice (SFJ) is a banned organization under India’s Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for its anti-national and secessionist activities.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the SFJ has been involved in efforts to destabilize India’s sovereignty, maintaining close ties with militant outfits and promoting Khalistani separatism both in India and abroad.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has registered several cases against Pannun, who faces over 100 criminal cases across various states and central agencies for his involvement in anti-India activities.

Diljit Dosanjh’s Silence Amid Controversy

As of now, Diljit Dosanjh has not publicly responded to the SFJ’s threats or the controversy surrounding his Australia concert. The singer, known for his global fanbase and successful crossover into Bollywood, continues to trend on social media as fans express both concern and support ahead of his international performance.
