After her high-profile divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, Dhanashree Verma is now open to finding love again. In a recent interview with Humans of Bombay, the choreographer and social media personality shared her thoughts on love, relationships, and the possibility of a second marriage.

Dhanashree, who has been open about the emotional toll of her divorce, said, “I think we all want love in life. Who doesn’t want to be loved? We all do. Somewhere, we all hope and we all have that faith.” She emphasized the importance of self-love and said, “Self-love is number one; love yourself first, then look for love.”

But despite the importance of self-love, Dhanashree is not closing herself off to the idea of new love. She added, “If there’s something good written for me in life, why not? In fact, my parents and friends want the same for me too. I want it to be good.”

Describing how she feels about love, she said, “We are all hungry for love. Today, that’s what is missing. It’s that beautiful Bollywood moment, the flowers falling on you. Who doesn’t want that feeling? We all do, and we all must experience it.”

Yuzvendra Chahal and RJ Mahvash’s Linkup

While Dhanashree remains hopeful about love, her ex-husband, Yuzvendra Chahal, has been frequently linked to RJ Mahvash. Despite repeated denials from Mahvash about their relationship, fans remain unconvinced after seeing the pair together often, with Mahvash even traveling with Chahal’s team.

Recently, Chahal himself addressed the rumors during a chat with Raj Shamani, denying any romantic involvement with Mahvash. He clarified, “No, there’s nothing. People can think whatever they want to think,” but also expressed how the speculation affected both of them. “When I was seen with someone for the first time, people immediately linked us. Even though she clarified it, it was very hard for her. She was called a homewrecker… people said really nasty things. I felt terrible.”

Chahal revealed that Mahvash had been a strong support system during difficult times in his life, and it hurt him to see her dragged into unnecessary controversies.
