Cristiano Ronaldo has officially proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, marking a new chapter in their nearly decade-long relationship. The couple, who have weathered many ups and downs together, are now engaged after Ronaldo put a massive diamond ring on Georgina’s finger.

Georgina confirmed the engagement with a post on Instagram, showcasing a stunning diamond ring, captioning it: “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”

The couple, who share two daughters together, also raised Ronaldo’s other three children. Their relationship, which began in 2016, has been a journey of love, growth, and resilience, further strengthening their bond over time.

A Love Story That Started in a Gucci Store

Ronaldo and Georgina’s love story began in 2016 when they first met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Georgina worked as a sales assistant. Both described it as “love at first sight.” Reflecting on their initial connection, Ronaldo shared in the Netflix series I am Georgina: “I didn’t think at the beginning that [the relationship] would be this strong… but after a while, I felt that she was the woman of my life.”

In January 2017, the couple went public with their relationship at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich, where Ronaldo was accompanied by his son Cristiano Jr. By May of the same year, their relationship was officially confirmed on Instagram.
