“AK-47 On Your Chest”: Gangster Warns After Attack on Kapil Sharma’s Cafe

A fresh wave of threats has emerged following a shooting incident outside actor-comedian Kapil Sharma’s newly opened Kaps Cafe in Surrey, Canada, on Thursday. The attack, the second in less than a month, has brought to light a disturbing audio clip from a member of Lawrence Bishnoi’s notorious gang, Harry Boxer. In the clip, Boxer delivers a chilling warning targeting anyone who collaborates with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, saying, “Any producer, director, or actor who works with him (Salman Khan) will be shot in the chest with an AK-47.”

This warning comes after Salman Khan appeared in the inaugural episode of Kapil Sharma’s Netflix show, which aired on June 21. The shooting incidents are linked to this association, with Boxer vowing that his gang would go to extreme lengths to harm anyone connected to the “Sultan” actor. Boxer went on to add, “Anyone who works with him will be responsible for their own death.”

The Bishnoi gang, led by Lawrence Bishnoi, has a long-standing grudge against Salman Khan, dating back to his involvement in a blackbuck hunting case in Jodhpur in 1998, which deeply offended the Bishnoi community, as they consider blackbucks sacred. Khan has been under tight security following previous threats and incidents, including a shooting outside his Mumbai residence in April 2024.

About the Attack at Kap’s Cafe

The attack on Kapil Sharma’s cafe is being treated as a serious threat to the entertainment industry. Following the shooting, the cafe posted a message on Instagram, expressing shock but reaffirming their commitment to peace and community. “We opened Kap’s Cafe with hopes of bringing warmth, community, and joy. To have violence intersect with that dream is heartbreaking. We are processing this shock but we are not giving up,” the post read.

The gang’s claim of responsibility came through another message stating, “The firing that took place today at Kapil Sharma’s ‘Kaps Cafe’ in Surrey has been claimed by Goldy Dhillon, affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.” The message continued, mentioning that their target did not answer the call, leading to the violent act. The threat implied that if the individual did not respond, further actions would follow, including potential attacks in Mumbai.

Other Involvement and Claims

Further complicating matters, Harjeet Singh Laddi, also known as ‘Laddi Khalistani’, who is connected to the banned terror group Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), also took responsibility for the attack. Laddi, using social media, explained that the attack was in response to Kapil Sharma’s controversial remarks about the Nihang Sikhs’ attire on his show, adding yet another layer to this ongoing conflict.

The escalation of violence and the involvement of multiple criminal groups signal a worrying trend, as the entertainment industry faces increasing threats from both gangsters and terrorist groups. As investigations continue, the safety of public figures and their businesses remains a top concern.
