In their petition to the court, Samaira and Kiaan assert that the will, which they believe excludes them from the inheritance, is not legally valid. They have filed a suit requesting action for being wrongfully omitted from their father’s assets. The lawsuit also names Priya Sachdev, her minor son, Sunjay’s mother Rani Kapur, and Shradha Suri Marwah, who is allegedly the executor of the disputed will, as defendants.

The legal feud comes amid reports of heightened tension within the family regarding the distribution of Sunjay Kapur’s estate. Sunjay’s sister, Mandhira Kapur, has also voiced concerns over her mother’s involvement in signing documents while grieving. She described how her mother was made to sign papers behind locked doors, with no one providing clear answers about what was signed.

Mandhira claimed that this happened multiple times, and the family has been left in the dark about the contents of the papers. She expressed frustration over the lack of transparency and hinted that the truth will eventually come to light.

Karisma Kapoor’s Position

While Karisma Kapoor’s name has surfaced in the media surrounding the inheritance dispute, a source close to the actress clarified that she is not involved in any property-related matters. The source emphasized that Karisma has no claim to the estate and that her only concern is the well-being and future of her children.

Karisma Kapoor married Delhi businessman Sunjay Kapur in 2003, but their marriage ended in 2016 after years of turbulence.
