Mumbai: Actor Tanishaa Mukerji has opened up about her past relationships, revealing that her breakup with Uday Chopra was far more painful than her split with Armaan Kohli.
Uday Chopra Breakup Hurt The Most
In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Tanishaa said her relationship with Uday carried deeper emotional weight because of their long-standing friendship. “My breakup with Uday hurt me way more than my breakup with Armaan. Losing Uday was harder because we were really close friends and had known each other for years,” she said.
By contrast, she described her split with Armaan as less painful.
Open To Love Despite Heartbreak
Tanishaa shared that heartbreak has never stopped her from believing in love. “I love the feeling of falling in love and cherish the experiences it brings,” she said, adding that she values each relationship for what it has taught her.
Guidance From Mother Tanuja
Through both personal and professional struggles, Tanishaa credits her mother, veteran actress Tanuja, as her strongest support system. She admitted that she often turns to her mother for advice when dealing with negativity or career challenges.
“Like everyone, I have my share of negative thoughts. But whenever I face problems, especially work-related ones, I go to my mom for guidance. Friends may not always understand the film industry, but her wisdom helps me handle tough situations,” she said.
