The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 turned emotional when actress and lawyer Kunickaa Sadanand reunited with her son Ayaan Lal during Weekend Ka Vaar. What began as a tense session with Salman Khan schooling contestants for their behavior shifted into a heartfelt moment that left even the host teary-eyed.
Ayaan’s Message of Pride and Support
Ayaan expressed his admiration for his mother, telling her that the entire country was proud of her. “You lived for your father, then for your husband, and for your sons — now it’s time to live for yourself,” he urged, asking her to draw strength for her own happiness. He highlighted how her work as a lawyer had touched countless lives, including members of the kinnar samaj who continue to praise her efforts.
Addressing Hurtful Remarks
The appearance came after fellow contestant Farrhana had called Kunickaa a “flop actress” and dragged her personal life into arguments. In response, Salman gave Ayaan a chance to speak directly, where he recounted his mother’s struggles.
Kunickaa’s Custody Battle
Ayaan revealed that his mother had endured a difficult marriage in her youth and fought a long custody battle for her elder son after he was kidnapped. To fund the case, she worked in films and regularly traveled between Delhi and Mumbai, often left with little savings. Despite setbacks, she never stopped believing in love and remarried, later moving to the US, where Ayaan was born.
“She has always dreamt of a simple home, a husband, and children — things she never got fully,” Ayaan said, asking the housemates not to belittle her journey or reduce her to kitchen work. His emotional narration deeply moved both contestants and Salman Khan, who reminded the house that success and struggle can change for anyone.
Weekend Ka Vaar Highlights
While Salman criticized contestants for their conduct earlier in the episode, the emotional exchange between Kunickaa and Ayaan became the defining moment, earning widespread respect for the actress’s resilience.
