AITAM College Signs MoU With QpiAI to Boost Quantum Tech Research

AITAM Engineering College near Tekkali has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with QpiAI, a global leader in quantum computing, to strengthen education and research in emerging technologies.

The agreement was announced by Prof. V.V. Nageswara Rao, Director of AITAM, in the presence of Lakshya Priyadarshi, Vice President of QpiAI, and M. Chandra Mouli, Product Leader at QpiAI.

Focus Areas of the Partnership

  • Curriculum Development: Integration of quantum computing and AI modules into AITAM’s academic programs.
  • Research Support: Collaboration on projects in quantum algorithms, AI applications, and quantum cryptography.
  • Faculty Training: Advanced training sessions for AITAM faculty will be conducted at QpiAI’s Bengaluru centre from September 15–21.
  • Student Opportunities: Establishment of Quantum Labs on campus to provide hands-on learning.

Driving Innovation

Dr. Konchada Someswara Rao, Chairman of AITAM, said the partnership would encourage innovation in AI and quantum technology while enabling students to develop intellectual property in frontier fields.

Prof. Nageswara Rao added that AITAM is the first institution in the region to sign such a collaboration with QpiAI, marking a significant step toward preparing students for future tech-driven careers.
