New Delhi | August 16, 2025 — Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has confirmed that he will appear in his son Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, the Netflix series Bads of Bollywood. The actor praised Aryan’s work during an impromptu #AskSRK session on X, describing the project as “entertaining, wacky and emotional.”

When a fan asked about his cameo in the show, SRK replied:
“Lots of lovely friends from the industry have participated in Aryan’s series. They have been very gracious and loving to him. Main toh hun hi… haq se!”

Responding to another query about how the series has shaped up, the Swades actor said, “It’s very good. You all see and decide… but it’s very entertaining and wacky and emotional. Honest review!”

First Look on August 17

The first look of Bads of Bollywood will be unveiled on August 17 in Mumbai. The series, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, explores the journeys of strugglers, dreamers, and hustlers navigating the chaos of the Hindi film industry.

Unlike his father and sister Suhana Khan, Aryan has chosen to work behind the camera. He has co-created the show with Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, and has been developing it for more than a year.

Cameos and Release

Along with Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo, the series is expected to feature appearances by Bobby Deol, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh. Bads of Bollywood is slated to premiere on Netflix in 2025.
