Friday’s Transfer Gossip: Man Utd Eye Hjulmand, Spurs Confident Over Eze Deal

The summer transfer market is heating up, with several top clubs across Europe making moves to strengthen their squads before the window closes.

Manchester United’s Midfield Plans

Manchester United are considering a £50m move for Sporting CP’s Danish midfielder Morten Hjulmand if their pursuit of Brighton’s Cameroon international Carlos Baleba, 21, falls through, according to The Sun.

Meanwhile, Fulham have expressed interest in United striker Rasmus Hojlund, 22, with AC Milan also keeping tabs on the Denmark international.

In another potential departure from Old Trafford, Chelsea are pushing to sign Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho, 21, and believe a £35m fee would be reasonable (Teamtalk).
