Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun faced an unexpected moment at Mumbai Airport when a CISF officer stopped him during a security check and asked him to remove his mask and sunglasses for face verification — a routine security protocol.
The Incident
As Allu Arjun approached the security point, the officer requested him to reveal his face for identification. The actor appeared hesitant at first, leading to a brief exchange with the officer. His assistant reportedly tried to explain who he was, but the CISF personnel stood firm on the rule.
Eventually, Allu Arjun removed his sunglasses and mask for a quick verification before putting the mask back on and continuing inside.
Mixed Reactions Online
The video of the incident quickly went viral, sparking discussions on social media about whether celebrities should follow the same security protocols as other passengers.
One user wrote:
“Face ID rules shouldn’t be bypassed. Security applies to everyone — celebrities, VIPs, or the public. If someone entered a secure zone without proper verification, it would make us feel unsafe.”
Another comment praised the officer’s professionalism:
“The security should get a pay hike immediately.”
Many also pointed out that stars often cover their faces to avoid being mobbed for selfies, but at security checks, rules should be uniform.
Upcoming Projects
Following the massive buzz around Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun is gearing up for director Atlee’s big-budget film AA22xA6. The project boasts an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur.
