Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian announced that approximately six lakh people have benefited from the 16,000 special medical camps conducted across the state during the monsoon season. These camps were specifically organized to address the heightened risk of waterborne and vector-borne diseases that typically surge during the monsoon months.
The minister emphasized the government’s proactive approach in mitigating health risks associated with the monsoon. He stated that the medical camps were strategically set up in vulnerable areas to provide immediate medical attention and preventive care to the public.
