Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has declared the protection of water-logged standing crops as the state government’s top priority. Naidu also urged banks and financial institutions to extend support to farmers by providing them with easy access to credit facilities.

Recognizing the need for long-term solutions to prevent future flooding, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of investing in infrastructure projects such as drainage canals, reservoirs, and flood control embankments.
