Guwahati: Allegations have surfaced in Arunachal Pradesh concerning the Special Investigation Team’s (SIT) handling of the investigation into the death of Techi Garga, with claims that the SIT is attempting to conceal the relationship between Chief Minister Pema Khandu and one of the accused individuals. These claims were made by Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Gabriel Denwang Wangsu and former Chief Minister Mukut Mithi.
Licha Teji, the prime suspect in the Techi Garga murder case, allegedly has close ties to Chief Minister Pema Khandu. Opposition parties and concerned citizens are closely watching the progress of the investigation. According to reports, the SIT formed to investigate the case is under scrutiny for allegedly attempting to downplay Sarma’s connections with the accused.
Gogoi’s Allegations
The allegations were made by MLA Wangsu, who stated that there were deliberate attempts to protect individuals of high influence. The accusations come amid growing public concern over the transparency and impartiality of the investigation. He emphasized the need for a fair and thorough investigation to ensure justice for the victim and his family.
