Mumbai | October 12, 2025 — Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan reminded everyone why he’s called the King of Hearts at the 70th Filmfare Awards, when he gracefully helped actor Nitanshi Goel avoid a nasty fall on stage. The heartwarming moment quickly went viral, melting fans across social media.

SRK, who returned to host the Filmfare Awards after nearly 17 years, was sharing the stage with filmmaker Karan Johar during a segment when he invited Laapataa Ladies star Nitanshi Goel to collect her award.

As Nitanshi, dressed in a flowing gown, approached the stairs, Shah Rukh extended his hand to assist her. Just as she tripped while stepping up, the actor firmly held her hand, preventing her from falling. A visibly relieved Nitanshi thanked SRK, who smiled and gestured reassuringly before escorting her up the stage — where she was greeted by Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar.

The young actress won the Best Debut (Female) award for her performance in Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies.
